Education:

Bachelor's degree in Economics from Whittier College (California, US).    

Positions:

• Corporate Finance Manager at the Industrial Bank of Kuwait
• Chairman and Managing Director of Coast Investment & Development Co
• Served as editor-in-chief of Al-Qabas
• Elected to Parliament in 1999
•  In 1992 he was awarded the International Press Freedom Award of the Committee to Protect Journalists
• Served in the National Assembly of Kuwait from 1999 to 2009
• Served as Chairman of the Arab Parliament from 2005 to 2009
• Member of the General Secretariat of the New York-based Council on Foreign Relations
• Al Sager was elected Chairman of the board of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2020
