The AlOjeiri Scientific Center announced that "March will feature two notable astronomical events: a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse." Additionally, the latter half of the month will witness the beginning of spring and several planetary and stellar conjunctions visible in Kuwait's sky.

In an exclusive statement to *Al-Rai*, the center explained that "some parts of the world will experience a total lunar eclipse on March 13-14, 2025. This eclipse will pass over Western Europe, parts of Asia, Australia, Western Africa, North and South America, and Antarctica, but it will not be visible in Kuwait."

The center further clarified that "a lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, aligning these celestial bodies in a straight line, causing the Moon to pass through the Earth's shadow."

Regarding the solar eclipse, the Ajiri Scientific Center stated that "the Sun will experience a partial eclipse at the end of this month, which will be visible in parts of Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America."

As for other astronomical phenomena, the center noted that "March’s full moon will appear this Friday and is traditionally known as the 'Worm Moon,' a name linked to earthworms that tend to emerge around this time in various regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Meanwhile, the new moon will occur at the end of the month when the Sun and Earth align on opposite sides of the Moon."

On the spring equinox, the center explained that "it will begin on March 20, when the Sun crosses the celestial equator from south to north, marking the official start of spring."
