The Alojeiri Scientific Center revealed that the sky over Kuwait is set to witness the appearance of comet A3, known as Tsuchinshan–ATLAS, starting from dawn this week.

The center added in a press statement that the comet can be observed at dawn before sunrise.

It explained that the comet will continue to appear in the skies of Kuwait until October 2 in the east and will gradually move to the western side. It will be most visible in the west between October 12 and 30, which is the best period to view it after sunset.

The center further clarified that if the comet successfully completes its journey around the sun, it will be visible between September 27 and October 4, shining in the east about half an hour before sunrise, although it will be very low on the horizon.

It added that the comet will be at its closest point to Earth on October 12. Comet A3 is a long-period comet from the Oort Cloud, a spherical shell surrounding our solar system that contains millions of comets.
