The center added in a press release that there will also be an increase in the number of daylight hours, exceeding 13 and a half hours. The center mentioned that this period, known as "Al-Sharteen," is characterized by an increase in the movement of northern winds carrying dust and sand. "During Al-Sharteen, the weather is hot at midday, and it becomes difficult to stay outdoors during these times," it continued. The period lasts for thirteen days, followed by the "Al-Bateen" period, marking the end of the rainy season and the beginning of rising temperatures.
