The delegation from the Qatari Calendar House praised Kuwait's efforts in preserving and teaching astronomy to different generations by incorporating it into educational curricula and dedicating children's publications through the AlOjeiri Scientific Center.

The delegation, led by the Executive Director of the Qatari Calendar House, Engineer Faisal Al-Ansari, toured the exhibit of the late Kuwaiti astronomer Dr. Saleh Alojeiri, commending the historical legacy, manuscripts, letters, and books preserved by the center.

During the visit, the Qatari Calendar House and the AlOjeiri Center called for enhancing cooperation in the fields of calendars, organizing courses on timekeeping, lunar phases, astronomical research, and related religious astronomical matters.

Both parties signed a joint cooperation document to strengthen training efforts, establish astronomy camps in Kuwait or Qatar, and exchange expertise in this field. They also aimed to enhance and develop all aspects related to calendars in line with modern technology.

In the same context, the General Director of the AlOjeiri Scientific Center, Engineer Yousef Alojeiri, reviewed the center's latest publications and developments, particularly the center's specialized application.
